Tasks

• Accomplishment of metal structure repairs on aircraft or on aircraft components in accordance with maintenance and repair instructions
• Assessment of damages in accordance with the manufacturer instructions (e.g. SRM - Structural Repair Manual)
• Repair of structural components (including stiffener, brackets, webs)
• Manufacturing of bushings and bearings on the lathe
• Manufacturing of fuel tubes on the tube-bending machine
• Welding and weld repairs on aircraft components
• Manufacturing of special tools on lathe and milling machine

Requirements

• (at least) apprenticeship or technical college degree
• Experience with repairs or in production of metal structure and tooling is an advantage
• Experience with jobs on a lathe and milling machine (conventional and CNC) is needed
• Welding certificate/knowledge of welding practices would be an advantage
• Able to work independently and with accuracy
• Experience in aviation industry would be an advantage
• Team-oriented, flexible and able to cope with pressure
• Communicative personality
• Willingness for shift work (night and weekends)
• Readiness for further training
• English skills (written and spoken), German skills would be an advantage
• Driving license
• Unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market
