Job Summary

The AMOS Engineering Specialist reports to the Manager, Engineering & Propulsion and is responsible for completing AMOS tasks as they pertain to the Engineering department.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Validating data once entered into AMOS, both in Playground and Production
  • Assist Training Department in development of modules
  • Review Technical manual
  • Monitor and resolve technical queries within AMOS
  • Assist with onboarding/migration of D8 fleet
  • Assist maintenance planning and technical records with task effectivity, hangar/tooling requirements
  • Assist with lessor technical queries
  • Monitor parts removed for troubleshooting status (electronic pending shelf)
  • Assist purchasing and warranty with PN effectivity, technical queries and sourcing of tooling and equipment when necessary
  • Utilization of the Safety Management System [SMS] reporting program and adherence to the Safety Policy
  • Participate in AMOS industry conferences
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Swiss AS AMOS preferred
  • Transport Canada issued AME M2, E or S license, equivalent or relevant qualifications
  • DHC-8-Q400 and/or Embraer E1 or E2 or equivalent endorsements an asset
  • Valid passport and ability to travel an asset
  • Well organized, detail oriented and able to work autonomously
  • Proven self-starter with good time management skills and able to multi-task
  • Able to obtain airside security clearance
  • Knowledge of RAAS an asset
