The AMOS Engineering Specialist reports to the Manager, Engineering & Propulsion and is responsible for completing AMOS tasks as they pertain to the Engineering department.
Duties & Responsibilities
Validating data once entered into AMOS, both in Playground and Production
Assist Training Department in development of modules
Review Technical manual
Monitor and resolve technical queries within AMOS
Assist with onboarding/migration of D8 fleet
Assist maintenance planning and technical records with task effectivity, hangar/tooling requirements
Assist with lessor technical queries
Monitor parts removed for troubleshooting status (electronic pending shelf)
Assist purchasing and warranty with PN effectivity, technical queries and sourcing of tooling and equipment when necessary
Utilization of the Safety Management System [SMS] reporting program and adherence to the Safety Policy
Participate in AMOS industry conferences
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Post-secondary education
Minimum 5 years’ experience with Swiss AS AMOS preferred
Transport Canada issued AME M2, E or S license, equivalent or relevant qualifications
DHC-8-Q400 and/or Embraer E1 or E2 or equivalent endorsements an asset
Valid passport and ability to travel an asset
Well organized, detail oriented and able to work autonomously
Proven self-starter with good time management skills and able to multi-task
Able to obtain airside security clearance
Knowledge of RAAS an asset
