We're looking for an Entry Level Process/Chemical Engineer in  Boise, ID  who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets. Some of your responsibilities may include but are not limited to..

• Designing process/facility systems including waste streams, chemical distribution, bulk and specialty gases, ultra-pure water, pollution control, mechanical/process wet and dry piping systems (all systems).
• Assisting in the engineering producing engineering drawings for installation of process equipment and systems according to client standards and consulting associated with the construction of industrial production facilities, semiconductor tool installations, and Process and Mechanical Piping system design related to facility engineering
• Performing field inspections of existing systems, on-site field walks and design verification
• Technical writing, including memos to adequately update team members on new designs, and technologies that embrace safety and process improvement

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related major
• EIT or ability to obtain within one year of hire
• Understanding of Chemistry as it relates to safety hazards, environmental impacts, and mitigation strategies
• Local to or willing to relocate to Boise, Idaho as this position is considered project site/hybrid and may require you to work in the local office, at a project site, or from your home (within approximately 50 miles of site)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office with fluency in design drawings, word processing, excel spreadsheets, etc.
  
  
  

Ideally, you will also have

• Previous experience, internship or projects related to semiconductor manufacturing facility design, supporting tool installation projects preferred
• Facilities-related engineering experience (semiconductor fab facilities is highly preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and design drawings
