Overview
Account Representative, SITA FOR AIRCRAFT
Region: Europe, based in Barcelona Office
Purpose
Reporting to the VP, Europe and Americas, the Account Representative is accountable for driving the profitable growth by identifying, pursuing and closing business opportunities for Tier 4 customers of SITA For Aircraft. This is a junior position, with strong opportunities for growth within the organization.

Purpose
Reporting to the VP, Europe and Americas, the Account Representative is accountable for driving the profitable growth by identifying, pursuing and closing business opportunities for Tier 4 customers of SITA For Aircraft. This is a junior position, with strong opportunities for growth within the organization.
What You Will Do
- Drive all sales activities as per short- and long-term objectives.
- Promote and sell communications and digital solutions for a large number of small airlines in Europe.
- Collaborate with the account management team to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
- Manage and build relationships with clients; become the trusted advisor/consultant for them; ensure customer loyalty and highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Gain deep understanding of the customer's business needs and use this to identify opportunities and plan for the continued development of SITA For Aircraft business.
- Build sales pipeline for future growth; ensure sales forecasts are accurate and up to date. Maintain clear visibility of the status of all commercial aspects of the account.
Education
University degree in business-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Who You Are
- Experience in building client relationships at managerial level.
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales/business development function, preferably within aviation or IT industries
- Achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Proven successful experience in business development and pipeline management.
- Ability to communicate well internally and externally.
- Fluency (spoken and written) in English is mandatory. Additional languages (French, Spanish, German, etc.) are a strong asset.
- At ease in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Aptitude to understand technology is essential.
- Willingness to travel as required.
