The Customer Relationship Management Technology team is responsible for the applications and third-party relationships that support easyJet’s CRM side of the business. You will be the actively involved in small to complex changes and supplier assurance, covering business as usual for Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM), the Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) for easyJet customers.

The team manage the overall scope of easyJet’s IT delivery for CRM, including technology and lifecycle management, service & change management, and support. This is a newly formed team so we are looking for individuals who can bring a high motivated work ethic and lead from the front as the technology portfolio evolves

Job Purpose

You'll be responsible for the technical design of applications and platforms within the IT estate, adhering to enterprise standards and best practice. The role works closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, business analysts, developers, and delivery managers to deliver IT Change that meets the needs of projects and programmes within easyJet’s enterprise portfolio. In addition, the role sets out the technical roadmap for the various systems within their remit

What You’ll Need To Do The Role

  • Accountable for preparing and maintaining technical architecture artefacts for CRM technology, including AS-IS, TO-BE and transitional states
  • Accountable to prepare or support with designing and documenting technical solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborating with enterprise architecture and peers to identify and agree the technical standards, frameworks, tooling, and patterns for technical solutions adhering to enterprise standards and best practice.
  • Supporting solution architects in the creation of end-to-end architecture. Accountable for the related technical design and any amendments resulting from Technical Design Assurance
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance and technical assurance to developers/engineers ensuring consistency and conformity to agreed standards.
  • Actively contribute at all stages of the development lifecycle ensuring technical architecture standards are considered
  • Work with onshore and nearshore development teams as required, including occasional travel


Skills & Experience

  • Practical experience of owning and defining technical solutions and presenting them in technical forums
  • Methodical, logical, and flexible in approach, you will have gained significant experience as a Technical Architect
  • Good understanding of design best practices, including design principles & patterns, security and performance.
  • New technology awareness, evaluation, and selection; experience with running or supporting vendor RFI/RFP
  • Experience of operating in a distributed agile model and in supporting onshore and offshore delivery teams with practical experience of analysis and development techniques e.g., SCRUM, Agile & Waterfall
  • Knowledge of different modelling languages (such as UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, Essentials Project, Lucidchart)
