Job title: Computer Aided Design (CAD) Support

Location: Samlesbury

Salary: £47,683 + depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Incident and Request Management for CAD services
  • End user CAD Toolset Support
  • Development, Integration, Testing, Certification and Deployment of new and updated CAD toolsets
  • Managing and reporting against Security Incidents (vulnerability remediation)
  • Supporting Licence Renewal, Purchasing, Hosting and Utilisation Monitoring activities
  • Transitioning services into a defined service model via Operational Readiness Reviews (ORR)
  • Access Management (through “in app” configuration or Active Directory)
  • Infrastructure Monitoring
  • Hardware evaluation, testing and monitoring
  • Creating and Maintaining Stakeholder Lists and supporting communication exercises
  • IT Governance to ensure that services in scope of the role follow set IT and security policies

Your Skills And Experiences

  • Ability to operate independently to investigate and resolve issues as they rise
  • Wide ranging experience of CAD applications, installations, and configurations (primarily Siemens NX and CATIA)
