Process Analyst

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You'll Do:

The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for meeting with key cross-functional stakeholders to identify, develop, deploy and support business processes. This includes improving existing business processes as well as identifying/driving new processes for the team to improve our scalability, flexibility, cost, and proactiveness.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain and update process documentation, standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and policies that reduce process variation and drive process flexibility, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Applies a lean methodology (define, measure, analyze, improve, control) and lean tools to continuous improvement efforts to achieve financial and customer benefits.
  • Participate in project planning and execution related to these initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of process improvements, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to ensure the operational excellence roadmap, program and projects plans and functional process improvement plans add ongoing value.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • 2+ years of related business process analysis experience.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience using process modeling and documentation tools like Visio and Lucidchart.
  • Understanding of process-mapping methodologies
  • Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), or similar approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • You possess strong communication skills and are adept at organizing and presenting information in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information to audiences.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Certification or Training in Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management
  • Experience in Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and other automation tools is a plus

At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $92,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
