Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Inflight Services is responsible for the oversight of Cabin Attendants assigned to client accounts. One may delegate duties but not the responsibilities for those duties.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10 years of work experience in a cabin attendant role
  • 1 year experience managing mixed-level team members of professionals and managers
  • 1 year experience setting standards and operational guidelines
  • 1 year experience providing executive level service skills from hospitality or food service business
  • Flight Safety International Corporate Cabin attendant recurrent training
  • MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury training
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the development and administration of the Cabin Attendant program with the objective of establishing the highest safety and service standards. In coordination with the Chief Pilot’s office, develop and implement operating policies, procedures, training, and standards for Cabin Service.
  • Deliver basic indoctrination to all new cabin crew.  Monitor vendor performance for compliance with established Company policies and procedures in the areas of Emergency and Medical training.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure all charter and managed aircraft are staffed and evaluate the performance of cabin crewmembers for compliance with Company procedures and government regulations.
  • Hire, manage, and discipline cabin crew personnel in compliance with company standards and human resource policies.
  • Work with Jet Aviation Staffing to ensure safety and service standards for all contract crewmembers are monitored.  Evaluate all contract crew performance. 
  • Work with other departments such as aircraft conformity and client services in the delivery of new aircraft and establishing new Jet Aviation management accounts.

Main Responsibilities Cont.

  • Liaise with new clients to establish initial aircraft inventory and standard stock.  Procure bedding, cabin amenities, electronics, and all interior fabrications within established budgets.
  • Liaise with MedAire to review new aircraft for medical equipment and establish Certificate of Service for MedAire with each new client.
  • Direct, guide, and participate in the preparation, publication, distribution, revision and control of Cabin Attendant and related administrative manuals and safety bulletins.
  • Participate in and promote utilization of the JAFS Safety Management System.  Participate in Jet Aviation Flight Services Safety Committee.
  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
