Job Description Summary: Under limited guidance, works at the business unit level developing the end-to-end solution architecture for significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders. Expose current state architecture and identify options for future state architecture. Works closely with business and IT stakeholders creating solutions that balance competing interests and concerns. Develop plans for and facilitate the migration from current to selected future state by providing technical leadership to multiple initiatives. Mentor those in less senior positions.
Job Specific Information: The Solutions Architect is a key role supporting FedEx Workday Compensation Development strategy to connect HR processes with FedEx functional areas. This position will play a vital role in building and supporting functional configuration and integrations with payroll and time keeping. The ideal candidate will Collaborate with Product Owners, Development team, and third-party vendors in an Agile environment to understand requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and to design, develop, and implement Workday Cloud and other products for the HR transformation.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
- Experience and Workday Pro Certification in HCM
- Experience designing, building, testing and deploying Workday Compensation solutions using EIB, Workday reporting, calculated fields, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, etc
- Experience with Customer-Driven Design and Lean techniques to capture and define customer needs
- Experience solving complex programming problems and takes a new perspective using existing solutions
- Experience with SaaS Environments like Workday, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc
- Proven work experience in HR systems

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $9,475.00 - $12,147.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
