The company now employs over 300 employees, and is a six-time recipient of Chicagos Best and Brightest Employers to Work For award.   Summary Assist the Accounting Manager and Controller with the monthly financial closing process including the preparation of monthly journal entries and reconciliations.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned. Prepares monthly journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and monthly close tasks as assigned. Maintain fixed asset records and controls. Project Accounting. Lease Accounting. Assist with Quarterly Reporting. Gathers data for internal and external audits. Cash flow and ABL reporting Responsible for implementing and complying with all ethical and legal compliance requirements. Other duties & functions may be assigned to this position as needed.   Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience   Required: Bachelor’s degree in either accounting of finance. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and familiar with the entire Microsoft suite Familiarity with ERP software. Familiarity with Sox Compliance and internal controls. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
