We are currently looking to recruit Manager, Indirect Sourcing IT for our Shared Service Centre. This position will be based in our beautiful offices in New Belgrade


Job Summary:


The Manager of Indirect Sourcing IT is in general responsible for implementing global category strategy which includes activities such as sourcing, contracting, managing and administering IT products and services, collaborating with internal business partners, finding, selecting and working with suppliers to drive savings, improve product quality, maintain overall cost-competitiveness.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on global category strategy development and lead execution of strategy through the 7-step sourcing process including market analysis, negotiation process (RFXs), supplier selection and contract creation, and buying channel management.
  • Market analysis
  • Research the marketplace to implement new outsourcing opportunities and suppliers.
  • Investigate and qualify potential supplier's operational capabilities and financial strength.
  • Demand management
  • Analyze procurement and financial data for opportunities including supplier rationalization, tenders, aggregation and specification alternatives.
  • Challenge stakeholders and drive demand management and compliance for IT categories (e.g., number of application licenses, application alternatives, number and specs of personal devices, preferred vendor penetration, etc.)
  • Stakeholder management
  • Support multi-functional stakeholder teams to design and implement specific strategic sourcing initiatives to meet business requirements and priorities.
  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship between procurement, IT PMO and other IT Teams (to include both Regional and Global IT Stakeholders).
  • Engage with the Gate Group IT Vendor Management Office to monitor strategy and contracts implementation, lead check-in meetings to provide updates and new service & contract support needs.
  • Effectively communicate business solutions and decisions to leaders in the functional area
  • Sourcing
  • Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies to achieve the best contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize Gate authorized Procurement tools to support RFx engagements.
  • Negotiate enterprise-wide agreements to service and satisfy Company requirements.
  • Contract management
  • Ensure contracts are current and terms has not lapsed, include follow-through with business teams to
  • Establish contract review process working with IT PMO, IT Vendor Management and other internal stakeholders (Legal, Risk, Securities, and other IT stakeholders) on a contract lifecycle to ensure satisfaction of services, effectiveness of contract term and cost improvements.
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Drive value through supplier relationship management and engage with suppliers to gather new product information.
  • Monitor ongoing effectiveness of the current supply base and manages supplier contractual issues.
  • Support resolution of performance and business issues
  • Track and manage KPIs for given spend categories.
  • Support other indirect sourcing and procurement events as needed.


Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor of Science in IT, Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management, required.


Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ of experience in procurement/vendor management
  • 3-5 years of IT experience, or strategic sourcing experience, with a focus on Technology sourcing, preferred
  • Professional Services and other administrative functions also a plus


Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • Technical aptitude of network and IT systems
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically execute
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to take our existing data and manipulate it to draw useful insights from it
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and e-sourcing tools


Language / Communication Skills:

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to comfortably present technical data to executive level leadership
  • Strong negotiation and contract skills
