Role Introduction

Reports to: Assistant Manager Airline Partnerships

The job holder will be responsible for negotiating, implementing and maintaining alliance & interline partnerships agreements. He / She will also be involved in interline lounge, frequent flyer partnerships, and will support in conducting assessments on proposals from interline partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, negotiate, formulate, implement, distribute and maintain interline agreements with partners including interline lounge and frequently flyer partnerships agreement.
  • Act as one of the key liaison persons between CX Group and interline lounge frequent flyer program (FFP) partners.
  • Coordinate, support, prepare and represent CX and ensure CX’s interest is well represented in interline meetings.
  • Review and assess the benefits of lounge, FFP and participate in its design and implementation.
  • Coordinate airline partnerships activities within the Group. Participate and drive related projects and studies.
  • Conduct regular reviews on airline partnerships activities to ensure benefits are being delivered.
  • Ensure all airline partnerships deliverables are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Keep track of industry airline partnerships activities and conduct research when required.
  • Support trainings and updates to internal users about oneworld and airline partnerships.
  • Assess benefits of lounge and FFP partnerships to maximize ancillary revenue from interline partners. Engage in negotiation with interline partners.
  • Support the Assistant Manager Airline Partnerships in handling day-to-day alliance and interline partnerships issues and studies when needed.

Requirements

  • Degree holder preferably in Aviation, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics disciplines.
  • Computer literate especially Microsoft Excel. Experience with other data management tools and systems(Qlikview, Qlik Sense, etc.) is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience. Airline experience is preferable.
  • Project management experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent influencing skills or lobbying experience.
  • Good analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Willing to travel at least once every quarter.
