Product Marketing Lead (Loyalty)

We are striving to reinforce Traveler Experience Excellence as a key selling point of our airline retailing solutions.

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will be part a Transversal team, focused primarily on Amadeus Rewards, then on Loyalty and Traveler Experience.

You will contribute to or lead any activity relating to market understanding; internal and market positioning; sales materials and value propositions, thought leadership, event content and market communication.

Product/Business Marketing

In this role you’ll:

  • Understand customer's business and issues and develop the business/product value proposition.
  • Define and own the overall business/product marketing strategy including key positioning with content, messages, tools and channels.
  • Understand market dynamics (Loyalty and Traveler Experience) including industry trends, traveler trends and competitive landscape.
  • Manage products profitability aligning resources dedicated to product through the products lifecycle.
  • Design and ensure implementation of the pricing strategy to maximize revenue.
  • Translate the strategy into Marketing Plan including marketing and communications actions.
  • Elaborate and execute yearly marketing plan.
  • Define metrics of success for business/product plans and evaluate the marketing performance and customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for the development of new or enhancement of existing products through analysis of market, competitor and customer information and knowledge of Amadeus' potential offering that will meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate elements for product launch: Information materials, training, support, marketing communication materials, positioning, pricing and sales roll out.

About The Ideal Candidate

  • You have specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in your own discipline or function.
  • You provided expert guidance, promoted innovation and formally train groups of less experienced professionals.
  • You have a broad understanding of the environment and use it to improve efficiency, recommend solutions/best practices and influences the strategy of the department. Translates the strategy of the activity into a concrete action plan for the area, setting and monitoring targets for the team.
  • You work independently, based on management directions. You may coordinate functional teams or projects and serve as a best practices/quality resource.
  • You know the airline or travel industry.
  • You know the Loyalty Market and can demonstrate experience in it.
