Our clients finance department is growing and they are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities
Provide support to the Finance Department
Perform reconciliations related to the Finance department
Responsible for processing of invoices in the accounting software tool and seeking the correct approval
Issue payment runs and perform supplier reconciliation
Review all supplier invoices for appropriate documentation
Responsible for the posting of journals in the accounting software tool and maintaining accurate accounting records
Assisting the Head of Finance, the Deputy Head of Finance and the Finance Team with any ad-hoc request
Other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance or the Deputy Head of Finance
Requirement
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to take ownership of tasks on an individual and team basis
Be able to complete tasks to meet deadlines
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have excellent written and verbal skills in English
Competence in Excel, general IT and accounting packages
*Previous experience within the Aviation industry is preferred*
Must have the right to work and live in Malta
