Job Summary
Born out of growth, a unique opportunity has arisen for a Programme & Commercial Support Officer based at our Filton site, to work within our Civil Airframe business supporting multiple programmes of differing complexity, customers and products.
You will liaise closely with the Programme Manager, operations, and commercial teams in a role that would suit a dynamic, innovative, and forward thinking aspiring program management professional, who can work well with others to deliver business results and improvements.
Supporting the day-to-day program operations of the business, you will be responsible for the administration and activities associated with control and monitoring of progress, scope, cost and resource management within the program.
You will represent the customer’s needs, support commercial tenders/ negotiate pricing and support Airbus fleet MRO activity including AoGs.
You will identify opportunities for sales growth and cost reduction whilst ensuring a quality and on time delivery of product across.

Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills and be a proficient Microsoft user. You will be a team player able to work co-dependently with others in the team.
You can demonstrate your experience working well in a fast-paced and collaborative team that is responsive and results-oriented.
You will have a demonstrated record of accomplishment of success in a programme, operations or similar environment, able to influence stakeholders and develop great internal and external working relationships.

- Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring that the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards are applied and that their assigned areas are a model of a world class healthy and safe working environment
- Responsible for providing Commercial support and administration support to the IPT team.
- Responsible for the weekly/monthly reports within the program.
- Reviews customer purchase orders for acceptability (terms & conditions, pricing, delivery, specifications, government regulations and legal requirements) and prepares sales order and related directives.
- Work closely with Value Streams on order-handling internally as well as support CMs, COs and PMs in the forecasting process (MPS &SIOP analysis)
- Preparing and maintaining the customer outlook for budgeting purposes.
- Supporting Risk and Opportunity Management activities and managing the risk register to control and mitigate the risk exposure.
- Point of Contact with customer for on-site scheduling
- Intensively liaise with customer in daily meetings
- Coordinate priorities internally between Operations team: Manufacturing engineering, logistics and team leads
- Active involvement in problem solving

- Previous experience in a similar project or commercial support role.
- Experience in financial or scheduling coordination.
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
- Project Management Professional certification like IPMA level D /PMP CAPM/ APM FPQ / /Other certification is a plus
