Senior Executive AO&CS in the role of Ramp Safety
Job Summary/ Objective
Ramp safety procedures encompass a set of meticulous protocols and guidelines designed to ensure the safety and efficiency of ground operations in the aviation industry. These procedures are critical for safeguarding passengers, crew, and aircraft during various activities on the airport ramp, such as aircraft loading and unloading, fueling, maintenance, and passenger boarding.

Key Responsibilities
Compilation of various MIS reports related to ramp practices and incidents etc.
To assist in implementing SMS (Safety Management System) across the network.
To coordinate with all Airports to maintain safety awareness – Issue Safety flyers, Videos etc.
To assist in performing station audits as per Department’s Inspection Plan.
To prepare audit reports and follow up on the closure of audit observations/findings with Airports.
To coordinate with stations for timely closure of hazards and other Ramp Safety related reports.
To assist in internal safety audits carried out by flight safety or by external agencies.
To proactively initiate and sustain the safety culture as per the IndiGo standards and practices by actively being on the ramp and praising good work.
To assist in compilation, revisions of Safety Policies & Procedures.
As and when required, coordinate with departmental team members to assist them in their day to day work.
Preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in aviation safety or related field.
Proven experience in ramp safety operations or related roles within the aviation industry.
Strong understanding of safety management systems and audit processes.
Desired Experience
Relevant experience in Aviation safety, ramp operations, or related areas.
Strong understanding of Safety Rules and procedures at airside.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills for MIS reporting and Presentations.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices is preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to travel to different stations as required.
