Lounge Cleaner (Nights)

Pay rate: £14.10 an hour (£29,328 annual salary).

Hours of work are: 21:00 to 04:00, covering a 40 hour a week rotating shift pattern over 7 days.

We have an immediate opportunity for a highly experienced Cleaner to work a permanent night shift for a VIP airport lounge at London Heathrow Airport.

Due to the hours of work, it is essential you have your own transport.

The main duties of a Lounge Cleaner will include:

• Deep cleaning all the lounges and cleaning with very high standards.
• Polishing floors using manual or mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms and toilets with specialist chemicals.
• Cleaning/washing doors and windows.
• Deep clean in the kitchen area
• Using a carpet cleaning machine to ensure carpets are cleaned and well maintained.
• Deep steam cleaning of sofas, upholstery, and curtains
• Using disinfectant and similar chemicals to prevent the spread of germs.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment in line with all Health & Safety regulations
• Regularly check all equipment and soft furnishings, making record of any issues that need attention.

The essential requirements to be successful a Lounge Cleaner:

• Experience in a similar role within a 4–5 star hotel or from a hospitality environment where you have been responsible for cleaning to a very high standard
• Displays a responsible, flexible “can-do” approach to work with a passion to provide high standards of customer care
• Very motivated and able to use own initiative

Successful applicants must be able to provide a 5-year checkable history for referencing purposes and will also be subject to security checks and airside clearance.
