Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm is assisting one of our key manufacturing clients with a direct hire, Process Technician near Mauldin, SC.

PM Shifts: 6pm-6am; 2-2-3 Schedule. (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on.)

Our client is seeking an experienced Process Technician with a minimum of 2-5 years in plastics.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain standard cycle times and part quality
Be able to understand and communicate the information provided within the job packet pertaining to specification sheet, standard routing, B.O.M.’s, scrap reports and quality requirements
Be able to identify all resins used in molding operation including regrind and the associated usage percentage
Must be able to establish a new process, do mold sets, Robot Programming and start a machine
Trouble shoot issues on Injection Molding machines and Robots.

Follow departmental documentation procedures
5S and Lock Out Tag Out experience preferred

Requirements:

Knowledge of operating the following Injection molding machines a must
5S and Lock Out Tag Out experience preferred
Applicant must have 2 plus years’ experience as a process tech in injection molding or similar process
