Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's/master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent science degree. Preferred master’s degrees in mechanical or aerospace engineering with the experience of 4-6 Years.
Primary Responsibilities and Minimum Skill requirement:
Expertise in New Product design and development and mechanical engineering fundamentals
Experience in generation of design concepts using tools like Creo 8, CATIA V5 and Unigraphics NX6/NX7 Etc.
Strong Skills in GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Experience in performing DFM and DFA activities & optimization of design for cost reduction and Conducting DFMEA.
Expertise in material selection, engineering concepts hand calculations, Strength of Material, manufacturing processes and manufacturing drawings.
Knowledge on Fundamentals of Analysis.
Expertise in handling of manufacturing/build issues, resolving field failure and Tool- Fixtures designs.
Expertise in writing test procedures, test report and manufacturing documents etc.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Nice to have.
Experience Root Cause analysis, Failure investigation and Fixture design.
Expertise in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Good understanding of PLM/PDM software tool. Preferred Team center
Expertise in conducting Environment qualification testing using DO-160G standards.
