Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer with Power background. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Construction Management, Engineering solutions company located in Edison NJ.

Pay: $135/year to $145/year

Client will provide the opportunity for a hybrid/flex-hour work schedule.

Responsibilities

Coordination with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service
Electrical system analysis and calculations
Design of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load
Design of fire alarm systems and low voltage systems
Service room layout, utility conduit coordination, grounding and lighting protection
Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports
Electrical & fire alarm field surveys, inspections, and punch lists
Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
10 years of relevant design experience
PE License in New Jersey required
