Job Description Summary As Senior Program Manager as part of the OE Product Value stream, you will lead the cross functional team to deliver on all program deliverables within the terms and conditions of the contract and business case. You will be working closely with supply chain, engineering, contracts and other functions to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. As well as program execution to achieve the business financial commitments, there will be the opportunity to play a key part in commercial negotiations with the customer to secure long term pricing arrangements under FAR15 conditions and also define the long-term manufacturing and services strategy for the product line. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

  • All contract performance related activities, tied to customer or program. Perform as interface between the customer and the internal business team at varying levels of seniority, assuring timely resolution of issues, keeping the customer advised of the progress of the program, and negotiate changes or solutions to issues.
  • Responsible for adherence to business financial budget, working with supply chain to ensure we compliantly deliver on plan to meet our financial objectives.
  • Lead and manage the Integrated Project Team (IPT) to ensure close collaboration across the functions to ensure timely progress and outcomes, using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) where appropriate.
  • Co-ordinate the relevant business functions to ensure timely responses to customer solicitations using sound commercial judgement and strategy to secure favourable commercial agreements for the business.
  • Lead the generation of the long-term manufacturing strategy for the product line ensuring that all technical, manufacturing and contractual aspects are considered.
  • Lead the generation of the long-term product support strategy for the product line that delivers future profitable services revenue streams.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the Product Management & Program Management.
  • Significant experience of working in aerospace industry or other relevant industry.
  • Experience of leading cross functional teams in a customer facing role.

  • Experience of NPI program leadership
  • Experience of leading or participating in FAR15 pricing and negotiations
