Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Material Processing Technician to join our Operations Team located in Curtis Bay , MD.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Inventory General Packaging and Special Handling requirements. You will be self-motived with strong organizational, analytical, presentation, problem resolution, and process improvement skills; and be comfortable communicating with internal and external customers, as well as working in cross functional teams.
What You'll Get To Do
Clean up of old material with no requirements from 2000 to 2020
Picking/pulling material off racks
Coaching other team members
Provide continuous status updates on progress
Additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications for a Material Processing Technician:
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience; or a Master's degree plus 1 years of relevant experience. 7+ years of relevant experience in Lieu of a degree
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of 1 year SAP/ERP or other related systems experience as well as Microsoft Office
Experience working in a cross-functional team
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) U.S. Secret Level Security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or other closely related area are preferred
Active U.S. Secret level security clearance
Proficient in Operations Business Systems (SAP preferred) - ESD, FOD, Key Point, Cadstar and Transaction Authority
Experience in MRP and Production Control

Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
