Tasks

• Installation, management and administration of our AMOS application
• Database administration (PostgreSQL)
• Daily systems monitoring
• Technical second and third-level support
• Support customers during implementation and operations
• Troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery
• Supporting our working principles like “continuous improvement”, “master technologies”, “KISS”, etc
• Participate in other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

If you want to be the next IT System Specialist you must fulfill the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• More than 2 years experience in Linux systems desirable
• Experience or knowledge in project management is a plus
• Experience in understanding n-tier applications
• DBA experience in SQL databases / PostgreSQL
• Strong Linux system administration skills
• Ability for troubleshooting
• Team player and customer-oriented mindset
• Fluency in English and Japanese language
• Requirement: The start of this position is contingent on the signing of a contract with a specific Japanese customer
• Must possess work permit in Japan
