Temp to Perm contact is offered to candidate with less than 1 year warehouse experience!

We are recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for company based in Heathrow Cargo Area (TW6 3PF).

As a Forklift Driver, you will receive:
• Permanent candidate Salary between £30000 to £35000 – depending on experience.
• Temp to Perm candidate £16.12 p/h, premium overtime rate and double bank holiday rates.
• Company pension and free parking in ULEZ free zone.
• Free Cargo Operative Training.


To be considered for this Forklift Driver position:
• A valid counterbalance forklift licence to level B1 or B2
• Minimum 2-year experience working in warehouse.
• Ability to load and unload parcels between 15kg to 25kg.
• Be prepared to work in a manual environment.
• Be prepared to work shifts pattern.


Successful applicants will be subject to:
• A 5-year checkable history for security vetting purposes.
• A clear DBS – Criminal Record check (refundable).
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy and ability to pass DfT Cargo Operative Training.


Forklift Driver duties will include:
• Using forklift to load and unload air freight cargo pallets to and from vehicles.
• Build and break down aircraft pallets and store in warehouse racks.
• Build cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications.
• Scanning cargo and completion of airfreight documentation.
• Performing other warehouse duties when required.


As forklift driver you will work on 4 days on 2 days off shift pattern:
• Day shift – 08:00 hrs to 16:30 hrs and 16:00 hrs to 00:30 hrs (Rotation)
• Night shift – 20:00 hrs – 04:30 hrs (Fixed)


It is essential that you hold a valid counterbalance license or certificate and warehouse experience. In-house training is also acceptable with valid AiTT or RTITB training provider.

Public transport to the site operates from 0400 hrs.
