Tasks

The Station Engineer Relief Department USA is responsible for:

  • Perform and certifies maintenance work on condition that he/she has a Type Rating according to ATA Spec. 104 Level 3
  • Supervisory responsibility over MM-Int.; MCM and MT MM2 qualified mechanics / technicians
  • Manages the maintenance operation and performs all necessary steps to assure the operation according to EASA standards
  • Supervises all technical and operational aspects at the station and coordinates the work routines with internal and external parties’ incl. crews
  • Manages the entire technical handling and coordinates all flights allocated to his/her shift with the aim to ensure safety, punctuality and an appropriate customer service
  • Responsible for the technical and disciplinary guidance of subordinate employees
  • Takeover of additional tasks when is required

Requirements

If you want to be the next Station Engineer Relief Department USA, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • A-level standard of education as well as several years of work experience
  • EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License – AML – Category Aeroplanes – with Turbine-Engines (B1.1) or National release to service authorization or national license in accordance with ICAO Annex 1, equivalent to EASA Part 66 CAT B 1.1 for - MEC
  • Evidence of participation in a “human factors” training course, equivalent to EASA Part 66 Module 9
  • Evidence of participation in a training course on aviation laws (national and EASA), equivalent to EASA Part 66 Evidence of personal “scope of work”, defined by a national license or national release to service authorization Module 10
  • Maintenance mechanic 1 or Maintenance mechanic 2
  • Fluency in English
  • CV/ Rsume reuqired
  • Company will not provide relocation assistance
