Job Summary:

As the F135 Fleet Data Management Hardware History Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing the backlog of hardware requiring installation history correction, prioritizing the work based on impacts to safety and/or fleet readiness and customer satisfaction due to key metrics such as time on wing and serviceable module/engine availability in preparation for full-fleet transition from standard life algorithm tracking to usage-based lifing.

You will be a key contributor to the concept of accurate data representing the quality documentation for key military engine hardware. Safety, Quality, and enabling the Customer to Defend Freedom are your key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Hardware History Manager to identify hardware requiring installation history correction
  • Maintain backlog reduction plan based on correction criticality rubric
  • Review transaction histories across several recording platforms to construct true usage and configuration
  • Provide support for collaboration and team/engineering input if required for corrections
  • Work with the Hardware History Manager to identify process, tool and system improvements opportunities to expedite backlog reduction
  • Travel up to 10%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3+ years of data analytics experience, data management, or Engineering, Depot Engine Management or Quality
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and 6+ years of data analytic experience, data management, Engineering, Field Services, Depot Engine Management or Quality
  • 3+ Years of experience in Engine or Data Management
  • Familiarity with Jet Engines and Maintenance concepts
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a formal or informal capacity, with Project Management skills
  • Engineering, Field Services or Data Analytics/Management experience
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and short deadlines

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
