Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Pyrometry Technician with AMS2750 experience. This is a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer of precision gearing products located in Downers Grove IL

Pay $56K to $65K depending on experience

Skills and Requirements:

Perform testing per AMS2750 (latest rev).
Account for any additional customer requirements regarding pyrometry.
Work to documented internal procedures.
Create reports compliant to AMS2750 and internal procedures for all testing performed.
Help create reports for testing performed by other qualified technicians.
Perform testing at required temperatures and intervals per AMS2750 and internal procedures.
Wire baskets/fixtures per qualified operating zones.
Review documentation from outside calibration (thermocouples, test instruments, etc).
Maintain all pyrometry related documentation.
Review pyrometry tests performed internally by other qualified technicians.
Train and perform assessments on other qualified technicians.
Maintain testing and replacement schedules for equipment and thermocouples.
Maintain inventory of test and control thermocouples. Submit purchase requisitions when inventory is low.
Perform clerical duties as necessary in the lab.
