Job Summary

Lead SCM Projects aiming at developing and continuously improving the end to end flow of material, efficient utilization of available capacities and resources, in a safe environment and in order to meet customer demand, enhance material flow and optimise inventory.

Ensure compliance to policies, standards and governance of SCM processes through communication and training of the site SCM team.

Support the site SCM in executing the site SCM Strategy in accordance with the guidelines provided by the SCM Centre of Excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to build business cases with clear deliverables within Key SCM projects to support Global/Regional Supply Chain Management team to deliver the roadmap to achieve excellence in SCM, taking into account Risk Management
  • Create, maintain and govern the execution of Project Plans, to be delivered within agreed timescale and costs
  • Provide update in timely manner (KPIs, Project plans and reporting) and escalate when appropriate
  • Support SCM projects and processes from CI and deployment perspectives. These projects will vary according to the roadmap and business priorities:
  • Integrated Business Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Material Requirement Planning, Shop floor inventory control, Distribution Requirement Planning, Inventory Management, Product Life cycle Management processes, Supplier logistics, VMI, milk-runs, warehousing, AGV, packaging, material handling, distribution, end to end visibility, IT/Solutions Projects, ERP, SCM Solutions.
  • Support Global/Regional Supply Chain Management team in the creation and/or deployment of Business standards.
  • Provide Director Global SCM Solutions with inputs to design the relevant Corporate Strategy.
  • Provide site Supply Chain Management team with relevant Training
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Maintain, manage and communicate results as per defined project KPIs and project governance
  • Apply PDCA approach, use A3 appropriately in case of deviation to plan to ensure successful project delivery and sustainability
  • Depending on the size of the site, responsible for uniformity, accuracy, stewardship, semantic consistency, and accountability of the organization’s official master data in the local ERP and systems
  • Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintains the processes to support the data quality
  • Responsible for data management, governance, and master data quality in conjunction with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
  • Provides assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain.
  • Min. 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Analytical, process-oriented, and strong communication skills.
  • Affinity with automation/IT.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English.
  • Proactive and a self-starter.
