What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality work. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively. Reporting to the Senior HR Administrator & HR Team, you will support the team in the day-to-day administration of the core HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support on HR-related tasks such as employee onboarding, offboarding, contract variations and other employee changes.
  • General Data Entry and Administration including management of the HR Team inbox
  • Provision of information to employees regarding terms, conditions, and entitlements as outlined in Enterprise Agreements and/or Employment contracts
  • Coordinate flexible work arrangements and parental leave requests, including initiating review of arrangements within required time frames.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of HR-related documentation, including employee handbooks, policies, and procedures manuals.
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information eg. extended sick leave, LWOP, change in salary/positions etc.
  • Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.

  • Strong Customer Service skills and communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).

Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Business Administration (desirable but not essential)

Knowledge:

  • Sound knowledge of HR and recruitment principles
  • Previous experience in HR administrative role
  • Ability to interpret Fair Work Act and Employment Law (preferred)
  • Ability to interpret and understand industrial instruments and employment contracts (preferred)
