Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Machine Repair and Rebuild Tech to work in a Maintenance Department. This is a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer of precision gearing products located in Downers Grove IL. This is a 1st shift opening starting at either 5 or 6 AM.

Pay $58K to $68K depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements:

Ability to move, install and maintain all machine tools used in production, plant equipment and buildings.
Ability to tear down machine tools, troubleshoot, replace worn and broken parts and assemble.
Ability to make adjustments and repairs to electrical and electronic equipment from low voltage to 120v - 480V
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
Ability to understand hydraulic functions and able to read hydraulic schematic prints.
Ability to repair and maintain electric and gas fired hardening furnaces
Ability to repair and maintain blast and all side equipment connected with heat treating.
General Maintenance as needed: Welding, Fabricating, Electrical, Plumbing, Changing light bulbs, HVAC filters, Fork Trucks and Industrial Lift Trucks
