SENIOR DEVELOPER

Senior Developer

Scandinavian Airlines’ Commercial team at SAS Digital & IT is looking for a new fullstack-developer to join the payment team. 

Our team builds digital payment and voucher solutions aimed to enhance our online customer experience. To continue our transformation journey and enable more payment capabilities for our customers we are looking for a developer to bring further energy, competence and skills to our team.
 

In this role your main responsibilities will be to:

•    Understand needs from business and translate then into working software
•    Secure application compliance with regulation (PCI DSS, GDPR, Accessibility) and SAS IT security
•    Understand when and how to make performance optimizations and trade-offs
•    Design architecture and solutions based on MVP model that can scale to enterprise solutions
•    Define processes with the team to secure high quality and high performing digital product
•    Coach, code review and pair programming with junior developers
•    Proactively suggest digital solutions that can help the organization meet its goals

Main tech skills and competence:
•    5 years of experience working as a Full stack developer
•    Proficiency with Node.js and Typescript
•    Hands-on experience in React
•    Hands-on experience with any of cloud services - Azure, GCP, AWS
•    Experience using build tools (Docker)
•    Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
•    Experience with microservice architectures
•    Familiarity with SQL and NOSQL databases like Cosmos DB and Postgres

Experiences with tools but not limited to:
•    Git
•    Azure Cloud Platform
•    GitHub Actions
•    Kubernetes
•    Terraform

Preferably if you have:
•    Experience within the payment domain
•    Hands-on experience working with Java / Spring Boot
•    Fluent in Swedish 
•    Your home base in the Stockholm area
