Employee Relations Advisor
Alliance Airlines, Australia's leading charter airline, is experiencing significant growth and we are actively seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our success and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in aviation.
The Opportunity
In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal part in providing advice and support across all business functions on Employee Relations (ER) matters. As a specialist within the HR function, this role works closely with operational teams to provide timely advice and support regarding grievances, investigations, performance management, disciplinary issues and general ER/IR compliance matters.

As a specialist within the HR function, this role works closely with operational teams to provide timely advice and support regarding grievances, investigations, performance management, disciplinary issues and general ER/IR compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
The Employee Relations Advisor is responsible for but not limited to:
- Supporting Managers with grievance and performance matters
- Conducting workplace investigations and disciplinary action
- Providing accurate and timely advice in relation to Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation
- Managing Parental Leave and Flexible Work Requests
- Assist with the delivery of training to Managers on relevant HR policies, procedures, and legislative changes
- Employee visa matters, including monitoring working restrictions and expiry dates
- Supporting the review of HR Policies and Procedures
- Monitoring compliance risks regarding industrial instruments and other applicable legislation
- Tertiary qualifications in related area or similar experience
- Prior work experience in an Employee Relations specialist role
- Broad understanding of grievance management processes
- Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations issues and resolve conflicts in a fair and equitable manner
- Sound knowledge of ER/ IR regulatory framework
- Practical and commercial approach to advisory
- Understanding of application of industrial instruments (Modern Awards/ Enterprise Agreements)
