Job Summary
GKN’s Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Filton, Bristol is a £32m state of the art technology research and manufacturing process development facility which is a hub for world-class innovative technology for the next generation of fuel-efficient aircraft. It includes a collaborative space for research and development with universities, the UK’s CATAPULT network and GKN Aerospace’s UK supply chain, to help strengthen aerospace technology and support the UK’s Industrial strategy.
We are seeking a dynamic and organised HR Officer to join our HR team in Bristol. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the administration across the employee lifecycle for approximately 400 employees based across Bristol and the Isle of Wight. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for executing administrative and tactical steps essential to the smooth functioning of HR operations.

How You'll Contribute
- Administrative management of the complete on-boarding and off-boarding process, including progressing security clearance applications
- Create, maintain and audit complete and accurate HR files and databases relating to all personal information, employment history, and benefits-related records
- Record and report on sickness absence across the employee population
- Enter and update the HR Information System with all employee/ employment changes, providing technical support, and generate reports for analysis and decision-making
- Support local initiatives and projects to raise employee engagement and help make us a Great Place to Work
Essential

Administrative or human resources experience involving daily interaction with employees and managers
Experience working in a complex and fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience in HRIS administration in Success Factors or similar
- HR process knowledge and experience of HR Business Process framework
- CIPD Qualified or working towards
