The Role

As a Technical Project Manager within our MuleSoft Centre for Enablement, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our integration projects. Leveraging your expertise in MuleSoft technologies, you will lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable integration solutions that align with our business objectives. Your responsibilities will include project planning, stakeholder collaboration, resource management, and ensuring the quality of MuleSoft integration deliverables within the C4E.

You will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable project plans. Drawing on your MuleSoft certification and extensive project management experience, you will guide the development team in adhering to best practices and delivering high-quality, reliable solutions. You will also work with the wider C4E team to manage and appropriately augment C4E capability, identifying and managing the delivery of new assets and processes to continuously improve our integration practice. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous learning environment within the organisation by participating in the development and delivery of MuleSoft training programs.

Main Duties:

  • Management of a Jira backlog, adhering to sprint and agile principles.
  • Ensure this backlog is appropriately prioritised according to project and C4E need.
  • Measure and optimise resource allocation within the C4E to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Regularly gather and measure feedback from project teams to continuously improve C4E assets, communications and processes.
  • Ensure quality delivery of reusable assets and APIs, tracking and minimising the number of post-deployment issues through robust procedure.
  • Manage project budgets effectivity, ensuring costs are within approved limits.
  • Manage platform capacity appropriately, defining and augmenting processes for managing new demand on the platform.
  • Ensure and measure effective training programmes to upskill MuleSoft resource across the organisation.
  • Work with our 3rd party development partner to continuously improve our working relationship and processes.
  • Measure and assist with appropriate levels of regional engagement around the world.



Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on MuleSoft integration projects.
  • Demonstrated success in leading end-to-end project execution, from initiation to closure.
  • Strong background in resource management and the ability to effectively allocate skills for project tasks.
  • In-depth knowledge of MuleSoft technologies, API design, and microservices architecture.
  • Previous experience of working within a C4E is a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in risk management and the ability to proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft best practices and a commitment to ensuring the quality of integration solutions.
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
