The Auditor/ Senior Auditor is part of Amadeus' Group Internal Audit team.
The role consists in planning and performing Internal Audit reviews across the Amadeus IT Group’s activities worldwide.
The position is based in Madrid and can involve occasional travel to other Amadeus locations.
Amadeus' Group Internal Audit helps the organization improve its operations and accomplish its objectives:
through the delivery of independent, objective assurance (3rd Line of Defense) and consulting services,
by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
In this role you will
Contribute to the roll-out of the Amadeus Group Internal Audit’s strategy;
Support or Lead the internal audit engagements assigned across the Amadeus Group different lines of business (including the regulated ePayment activities);
Support the planning of Group Internal Audit activities;
Contribute to the continuous evolution of internal audit's professional practice;
Support in building and maintaining effective relationships between Group Internal Audit and key stakeholders (including control functions, auditees and External Auditors);
Provide expert independent assurance and advice to auditees and management on the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
About The Ideal Candidate
Holds a university degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Legal or Information Technology engineering;
Has a strong knowledge of internal &/or external auditing, obtained through 4+ years of relevant experience in audit (internal or external), risk management, compliance &/or operations;
Is proficient in English (both verbal and written);
Demonstrates solid attention to detail, and ability to clearly communicate information to a wide range of audiences.
The Following Would Be a Plus
Exposure to financial services or eMoney regulatory frameworks;
Proficiency in data analytics;
Professional certifications in auditing, accountancy &/or Anti-Money-Laundering, Fintech...
