Boeing Global Services – (BGS) is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with a strategic mindset to design and produce coursework for our Digital Aviation Solutions (DAS) team in Denver, CO. This position sits on the Sales Enablement Team.

In this role, you will own the design of eLearning course videos in a sales enablement platform. You will also project manage and communicate the content release calendar to key stakeholders. You will support the design architecture of user learning paths and program module hierarchies, including the development of learning content pages. You will create snackable videos using editing software and tools in multimedia platforms to enhance courseware presentations. Additionally, you will leverage AI-authoring tools for narration recording. As the Tool Administrator, you will also support the management of user licenses, tool support requests, and onboard training for new users. This position is expected to travel 20%, with flexibility for hybrid work. This individual must be on-site as requested for instructor coordination or video capture/production.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Program Development: Develop a customized training plan for Digital Aviation’s Sales Directors, Technical Sellers, Customer Service & Support, and new employees. Experience in developing online training within a Learning Management System (LMS) is preferred.
  • Training Design & Readiness: Organize course materials in a learning hierarchy to enable objectives. Consult with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on content delivery strategies, workshop activities, and learning tracks. Promote collaborative course design with other Instructional Designers.
  • Course Content: Use instructional design theory to develop video training and blended learning solutions. Utilize video editing software and tools to enhance storytelling. Collaborate with content designers to publish multimedia courses with curated imagery. Experience with eLearning authoring tools, Adobe Creative Cloud, or multimedia learning objects is preferred.
  • Reporting: Generate user engagement and course evaluation reports to measure the learning impact on expected outcomes. Use data to recommend enhancements to course content.
  • Tool Administration: Manage user licenses, support requests, tool configuration, and onboard training for new users. Uphold partnership relations with the sales enablement platform’s support team.


This position is hybrid which allows some telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Video Production, Education, Business, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in training delivery and/or instructional design; preferably for a global company with a comprehensive learning curriculum.
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate, or similar products.
  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with common Sales Enablement tools.
  • Experience working with and creating dashboards.
  • Ability to act as a system administrator for new software.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.


Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Average Pay Summary: $115,600 - $156,400
