Lead Digital Design Engineer Responsibilities:

·         Lead Digital & Firmware development from architecture, component selection, design, verification/validation to implantation & production ramp.

·         Design and implement digital circuits using Verilog or VHDL.

·         Develop and optimize FPGA-based solutions for specific applications.

·         Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems.

·         Stay up-to-date with the latest embedded high-speed systems technologies and industry trends.

Lead Digital Design Engineer Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience.

·         Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals.

·         Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL.

·         Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx, Altera, Vivado or Intel Quartus.

·         Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) and/or embedded systems is a plus.

·         Experienced with complex circuit board design process.

·         Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

·         Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered.  As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

·         Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Working Conditions:

·         Standard office environment

·         Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail

·         Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment

·         Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

·         May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
