Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager in our Defense Power Group in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Job Summary:
The Engineering Manager for the Power Electronics electrical design group manages engineering design and sustaining activities and implements and maintains engineering objectives and initiatives. This role manages resources involved power electronics hardware, software, and systems engineering for the creation and improvement of products. Products are required to provide high efficiency, high power density conversion of AC and DC power sources to power required by loads for a variety of defense applications with power requirements from < 100W to > 1 MW. The position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Will perform a variety of tasks, and lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The power electronics design engineering manager will contribute at the highest level to technology development, new product development, new product introduction, and to customer interface on new business, development programs, and R&T initiatives.
