Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage daily news reporting and analysis for the Communications team, covering GE Aerospace, competitor and industry-related stories across established earned media and social channels
• Lead the creation of the daily news report for senior leadership
• Annotate and summarize complex breaking news events in a timely manner
• Stay informed on news cycle domestically and internationally, particularly around business priorities
• Support the external communications team in preparation for leadership briefings, VIP visits, media interviews, town halls, and community events
• Track and manage regular reporting on key metrics and performance data
• Support the distribution of all external communications, including press releases
• Complete other tasks as assigned
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field from an accredited university or college
• Ability to travel 10-20%

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill insights into crisp format at the level of detail appropriate for the audience
