The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center, or BBN team:

Summary of Role:

Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) is continuing to grow our Data Analytics team to meet current and future business needs. We have an immediate need for a Senior Data Analyst to support activities in our Data Analytics environment and to drive the digital transformation of the company.

The Senior Data Analyst will participate in the development and execution of our business intelligence strategy, driving analysis, interpretation, and visualization of data to inform key business decisions within EIS. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and optimization, while providing informal mentorship and guidance to a team of data professionals. Candidates for this technical role will possess extensive experience in business intelligence and analytics, strong leadership skills, refined communication skills and a passion for driving rapid results in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business AI/ML strategy to support business intelligence goals and drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Work with existing data tools (Snowflake, Matillion, Databricks, MS SQL, Power Apps, Power BI, Python, Kobai, Azure AI, etc)
  • Integrate with other enterprise tools (ServiceNow, SAP, Statseeker, Datadog, NetScout, Jira, Tanium, Wiz, SharePoint, Planview EA/Portfolios, etc.)
  • Lead and mentor in the design and development of data models, dashboards, and reports tracking KPIs and measuring business performance.
  • Establish processes to drive quality assurance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all BI systems and processes.
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead engagements with internal business customers to develop requirements in support of project objectives and desired business outcomes.
  • Work as a mentor and team member across the complete life cycle of delivery including requirements, architecture, design, development, test, and documentation.
  • Define and clearly communicate requirements and status to all stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation within the organization, driving alignment and accountability across teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of technical hands-on experience in a business intelligence or analytics role, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing BI solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R), as well as BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
  • Extensive experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, and develop innovative solutions to drive business performance.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Personable, flexible and thrives in a fast-changing environment
  • Experience and comfortable working in an agile development environment.
  • The ideal candidate for this technical role will possess general knowledge of an enterprise infrastructure organization and the services it provides.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Data Science or Statistics

Education:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Required Immigration Status:

US Citizen or US Person required.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
