The marketing team build and protect the easyJet brand, and are transforming the way easyJet attracts customers. Use of relevant, engaging content across owned and organic channels is a critical part of our marketing plan.

What You Will Be Doing

  • With a focus on social media and CRM you will maximise easyJet’s reach and impact across owned and organic channels.
  • Ensure content marketing plans are effectively documented and communicated across teams and functions
  • Own the creative development for specific content franchises, to inspire travel and drive demand, with a focus on pan-European activity such as promotions
  • Provide creative consultancy to regional Content Marketing Specialists, using agreed best practice and playbooks
  • Work closely with local marketing teams to understand commercial priorities, and translate them into impactful content franchises
  • Measure, optimise and report on content marketing, aligned to broader marketing and business KPIs
  • Create and own the central documentation that provides a consolidated view of content marketing plans
  • Develop and deliver templated assets for content franchises spanning multiple-markets, such as Big Orange Sale
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practice maintained with account and password management for social media channels
  • Provide content creation services to Content Marketing Specialists in regional teams
  • Deliver ad-hoc content requests and needs for markets without dedicated Content Marketing Specialists


What You Will Need To Do This Role

  • With a minimum of two years’ experience working in content marketing – from planning and creation to deployment and measurement – with proven experience of deciding which messages should live within which mediums
  • You will be comfortable with autonomy and using your judgement and commercial acumen to make decisions that drive profitable action/return for easyJet
  • Experience of shooting/creating social-first content, and copywriting
  • A natural self-starter, with an inquisitive and structured way of thinking – you’ll proactively be looking for ways for easyJet to stand out and drive maximum reach
  • Understanding of how organic social and other content marketing can drive specific KPIs – and reporting accordingly
  • Ability to switch from planning to execution mode, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience working cross functionally in a matrixed business with multiple stakeholders, across multiple geographies
  • Team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently.

Location & Hours of Work

We support hybrid working and we spend 3 days per week between our HQ at Luton Airport and our London based agencies and 2 days remote.
