Pricing Manager

We are looking for experienced Pricing Management professionals from the airline industry.

Aviation is a vital part of Scandinavian infrastructure and SAS is Scandinavia's leading airline. We maintain the highest frequency of departures to and from Scandinavia and connect smaller regional airports with larger hubs. With the help of our partners, we fly our customers to 1 300 destinations around the world. We are now looking for new colleagues preferably with previous experience in pricing management or optimization in the airline industry.

About our department
Pricing Management at SAS has around 16 employees. We are 3 pricing teams (Intercont, Short haul & corporate pricing ). As a Pricing Manager, you will join one of the pricing teams, take ownership for a portfolio of routes, with a budget of between 2 – 6 bn SEK. Our environment is characterized by professionalism,  responsibility and passion for work as well as close cooperation between different departments. 
 

As a Pricing Manager you are expected to:

•    Manage tactical pricing activities, including campaigns and pricing tests.
•    Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales teams to develop and implement optimal price structures.
•    Create and execute pricing strategies for ancillary products and services to enhance revenue and profitability.
•    Lead or participate in pricing-related projects and initiatives across SAS and with relevant stakeholders.
•    Conduct follow-up analysis of commercial activities and identify areas for pricing improvements.

Ideally you would have:
•    A University degree at the bachelor's or master's level in a relevant field (preferably technical, economical, or mathematical majors).
•    Experience in pricing management, revenue management, or a related field, ideally within the aviation or travel industry is desirable.
•    A detail-oriented and analytical approach, with a keen eye for identifying pricing opportunities and optimizing price structures.
•    A collaborative mindset and like work with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
