Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to support operations in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This specific position is a short term (9 months) assignment to work as a Manufacturing Engineer. At the conclusion of this program, participants will be terminated from the Boeing Company. Participants must be eligible for a J1 Visa.
Job responsibilities:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Job responsibilities:
- Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
- Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines
- Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
- Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans
- Investigates technical problems. Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
- Have a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary educational institution and at least 12 months of related work experience outside the U.S.
- 2+ years of engineering related experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree - Engineering Degree (Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Engineering Management.)
- Ability to walk, stand, and enter into aircraft via steps or ladders as needed.
- 1+ years of experience using 3D design systems, such as CATIA V5, SolidWorks, or IVT
