Quality Coordinator

Qatar Airways is looking for an experienced staff to join our Quality team as Coordinator to drive its newly established Global Business Services (GBS) operations in Ahmedabad, India.

The position will be responsible for driving best standards of process quality & internal control throughout the GBS unit.

Responsibilities

• Driving quality assurance & enhancement in GBS unit under supervision of team lead
• Performing sample based check, monitor transactions & provide feedback on quality
• Tracking & reporting relevant quality metrics identified for GBS process to team lead, Head of CDC GBS & stakeholders
• Performing compliance audits to identify process gaps & non compliances
• Assessing adherence of training programs of new employees as per company policy
• Supporting completion of audit checklist in advance for all internal/ external audits
• Assisting company's external auditors for preparation of documentation for control weakness/ error remediation
• Ensuring on time escalation & mitigation of issues & risks reported by stakeholders to team lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years relevant work experience
• Work experience in quality & internal controls team in BPO/ shared service organization
• Work experience in business process re-engineering & optimization
• Exposure of GBS operations
• Prefer certifications like Lean six sigma black belt
• Strong skills in MS office applications (Excel, PPT)
