Entry-Level Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As an Entry Level Test & Evaluation Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for perform a variety of test integration duties as a member of the GMD System Test Team. Tasks will include general support to the overall System Flight, Ground or Cyber Test Team, maintenance of required test documentation, consolidate Integrated Event Team Meeting inputs and conduct meetings, and train under test leads and SMEs. The specific tasks associated with this position are:


  • Support Test Team manager during Flight, Cyber, and Ground tests
  • Review, update, and release test documentation
  • Travel with test team and perform integrator activities (generate Positive Access Control sheets and submit to the GMD Element Coordination & Information Center (GECIC), generate Test Information Sheets, other coordination and integration efforts)
  • Work with other team members to ensure schedule commitments are met
  • Support the development of a Digital Engineering model for various system test events
  • Openly communicate and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functions

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Qualifications:


  • Experience with system design in areas of system interfaces engineering environments
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of time, including to government facilities
  • Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems. The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and sustainment.


This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Ground-based Midcourse Defense program and/or the Missile Defense Agency
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, Cameo, and SysML
  • Experience operating in an Agile environment utilizing GitLab
  • Experience in Test conduct and troubleshooting

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$56,000 - $100,000
