We are looking for a high-performing and enthusiastic Senior AI Scientist (Internal job title: Senior Data Science and Engineering Specialist), who will be hands-on, building AI solutions, and developing products from concept to production across all areas of Air New Zealand. You will be part of our Data Science team which has developed a strong results-oriented reputation across our business. This is a perfect opportunity for someone passionate about AI who wants to come and help drive exciting change at the airline.

The ability to lead the analysis, design, and deployment of new AI initiatives.
A curious attitude, comfortable dealing with problems that are not always well specified or understood and data that is sometimes incomplete and inaccurate.
Confidence and experience applying AI to help solve business challenges.
Key skills and experience required for this role:
5+ years' experience as a Data Scientist in a relevant field.
Strong foundation of Python skills.
Experience developing AI solutions within a Cloud Environment.
Knowledge working with a modern AI platform technology stack, with proficiency in tools such as Vector Databases and LangChain.
A solid understanding of the mathematical principles behind the latest wave of AI innovation.
