PURPOSE
Ensures the software is verified against the criteria set out in the functional by defining and executing tests.
Key Responsibilities
Using the requirements documents supplied conducts testing against set criteria in the test case ensuring work is validated at the predefined gate reviews.Works with cross-functional teams in the development of extensions to the existing applications.Provides maintenance and support of applications developed.Provides detailed analysis of all testing carried out on the environment ensuring all defect tracking risks and issues are logged correctly.Where required raises issues in formal project meetings ensuring the PM and Architect are aware of outcomes.

Experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months experience in a software development or testing environment.
- Demonstrate understanding of SITA development and project tools such as version control debugging.- Use of appropriate tools for change control risks and issues log.- Understanding of SITA methodologies and practices.- Basic skills of planning and teamwork.- Basic understanding of programming languages.- Understand the concept of IT security and its application to computer systems architecture.- Problem-solving skills demonstrated both in a technical and non-technical arena accompanied with sound judgment to know when to ask for help.

- University degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or similar.
