The role

As an Onboarding and Vetting Coordinator you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will support in processing all onboarding cases within required timeframes, along with obtaining and filing all relevant documentation evidence to achieve 100% onboarding compliance.

 

Day to day, you’ll:

 

  • Liaise with applicants and internal stakeholders to gather documentation and information to support the onboarding process. 
  • Collate, check, and follow up on information required for the HPC pre-employment screening through the in-house screening portal and submitting applications via the WIMS system for approval.
  • Work with the training coordinator, resourcing partners and Workforce Team to ensure new starts to the project are competent and qualified to complete their working roles in line with the MEH competency matrix.
  • Manage the onboarding of new staff onto the project, proactively managing all aspects of the vetting and onboarding process to enable staff to commence work as quickly as possible.
  • Make bookings for required inductions and necessary appointments and visitors to site 

 

This role is based at Hinkley Point C from Monday to Thursday, with the opportunity to work from home on Fridays.

 

Essential experience of the Onboarding and Vetting Coordinator:

  • Proven track record in all aspects of Administration in a fast-moving environment 
  • Previous experience of working in a customer facing role
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

 

Qualifications for the Onboarding and Vetting Coordinator:

  • Modern apprenticeship in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience

Security Clearance
