Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Lean Six Sigma Project Manager - Experienced / Senior (Level 4 / 5) to join the Managed Parts organization’s Program Management Operations team in Plano, TX.
In this role, you will be supporting the Managed Parts organization as a Lean Six Sigma Practitioner, including Component Services Programs (CSP), Landing Gear Exchange (LGE), and AeroStructures Exchange. The Practitioner’s objective is to improve the business and deliver products more effectively through the implementation of lean and six sigma principles. The focus is on supporting priority programs and projects to bring stability and improvement to our business. The approach is to develop strategy, infrastructure, identify, lead and manage critical projects, develop and facilitate training, and implement lean principles across the organization. Deploying lean sigma methodologies including SQCDP across Managed Parts.
In joining us you will work with multi-disciplined teams across the Supply Chain to eliminate waste, reduce process variability, and enable stability through delivering innovative data driven solutions. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Typical Education & Experience (Senior):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Position Responsibilities Include:
- Instruct others in continuous improvement tools and principles
- Leads and facilitates (Lean tool certified) process improvement efforts
- Leads and manages critical projects
- Assist in formatting updated training materials.
- Support advanced continuous improvement tool application
- Participate in strategy development
- Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
- Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
- Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
- Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
- Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
- Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
- Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.

- 5+ years of experience leading teams through implementing process improvements and standardized processes
- 5+ years of experience driving organizational change through simplification of processes and frameworks
- 10+ years of experience in a role that required excellent stakeholder management skills including the ability to communicate with and influence people from varying backgrounds, including members of senior leadership teams
- 10+ years of project management and implementing lean and six sigma principles
- 10+ years of experience leading teams through implementing process improvements and standardized processes
- 10+ years of experience driving organizational change through simplification of processes and frameworks
- 10+ years of experience in a role that required excellent stakeholder management skills including the ability to communicate with and influence people from varying backgrounds, including members of senior leadership teams
- Bachelor's Degree or higher or equivalent work experience (10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience in fast paced after-market environments, including opportunity identification
- Six sigma black belt certification
- Has project management certification (PMP)
