Northrop Grumman is seeking a Business Management Analyst for the Linthicum, MD location. This position will perform a variety of activities in support of functional areas such as contracts, finance, and/or purchasing for a specific project/business/technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. This role will work cooperatively with business, functional, and technical staff to support cost estimate development, invoicing, customer proposals, negotiations, and various audits.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develops, analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, and supports cost proposals to government and commercial customers.
  • Provide direct customer support, developing and maintaining positive customer relations.
  • Coordinate with internal support staff to ensure timely delivery of products/services
  • Participate in COTS Product Planning and Forecasting
  • Assist in performing market analysis for pricing adjustments of products/services
  • Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including developing the performance measurement baseline (PMB)
  • Track business expenditures (acquisition costs, R&D, etc.)
  • Complete special projects as needed

Selected candidate must be excellent at multi-tasking, be detail oriented, reliable, flexible, have a strong commitment to ethics and integrity and exercise a high level of professionalism when working directly with customers and vendors.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, etc.) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of contracts, pricing, finance, and/or business-related work experience
  • Basic understanding of Government Compliance
  • Basic understanding of WBS, procurement, and/or logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (prepare reports, generate spreadsheets, charts, presentations, and other forms of correspondence)
  • Asset management database work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Current US Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of the calibration field or other quality function.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience using SAP.

Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
